So we've gotten a request from an anonymous reader for restaurant reviews! I have a feeling that more people read this space then we know of...

I'll start this ball rolling in style.

Godzilla Sushi, Divisadero and California (I think?)

Just blocks from our apartment, this little sushi bar is an excellent value. Even if you ignore the cartoon drawings of our favorite green lizard on the walls, and the rolls named "Tinky Winky" and "Monkey Surprise", this is still a great place for a quick bite.

The chef's have an indie rock star appeal, as they slice and dice. The beer is cold, the tuna plentiful. They've got some creative igredients to boot, incorporating odd Japanese herbs and banana. Yet the restaurant still refrains from getting too cutesy or getting downright stupid, and flavor comes first.

7/10 screaming villagers running in horror.
