Interesting to follow the nomination process. Only after 3/4 of a semester of Torts and Contracts, I've already developed different opinions then I thought I would.

Personally I am leaning more towards the view point that judges should judge, not legislate. Public hysteria and public media seems to equate this view point with conservatism. I think the exact opposite. It is more of an implicit endorsement of the political process and our elected officials.
